Microcontroller Training Course

Our PIC training and development system is a complete course which introduces PIC microcontrollers to absolute beginners. For the first few experiments the reader is assumed to know nothing except how to operate a PC. From there the pace gradually quickens so that at the end of the course experienced electronic engineers will be feeling their brain is being well used.
The key to our system being easy and enjoyable right from the very beginning is that it is centred around two real books which lie open on your desk while you are using your PC to write the programmes and to drive the programmer/ experimental module.
For absolute beginners and hobbiests we offer our P928-B course which uses the Brunning Software PIC assembler. This plays an important role in the simplicity of our methods.
For professionals and university students we offer our P928-M course which uses the official Microchip assembler. This is slightly more difficult to use but offers more comprehensive facilities.
Both courses follow the same learning curve using the same programmer/experimental module. The first book which takes you through the essential learning has bought wide spread approval from our customers. There is no setting up to do and there is no preamble required to your programmes. The only things you type to create your experimental programmes are the actual PIC instructions. The idea is that a newcomer to PIC microcontrollers is able to switch on and start typing PIC instructions. The second book is a little more difficult but includes such things as high voltage mains measurement techniques and communications using the serial port of the PIC.
